About Us

Transforming gender equity in
natural resource management
through research and innovation

Who We Are

The think tank that makes sure that stakeholders of projects don’t get blindsided by states that haven’t worked enough on mainstreaming gender policies and programmes on issues of natural resources extraction and management by promoting and protecting the rights of women and girls in facilitating their empowerment and attaining substantive equality between women and men to improve health, education, employment, agriculture, combating violent extremism and eradicate poverty that often characterise resource-rich nations so that stakeholders don’t lose their investments or mitigate loses. We exist to serve and fill this void.

Our Vision

To become one of the global go-to think tanks on the subject of gender equity in natural resources extraction and management by stakeholders, policymakers, and civil society within the sub-region.
